How to send SMS about the transport information to the parents?

To send the SMS about the transport information, please follow the steps given below:

Step 1:

To send the SMS about the transport information, go the connect on the modules pallette, go to the

SMS module and select the Send SMS under the send SMS menu.

(Connect-->SMS-->Send SMS-->Send SMS)

Step 2:

Select Send Transport Information option on the left of displayed page . Details to be filled will

appear.

Step 3:

Fill in the details like Routes(single/multiple), Bus route, Route type(pickup/drop), Class User type(parent/student)

Status(active/inactive), SMS type, Contact details , Gender, Category (hostel/residential/semi residential)

and select the DLT approved Custom SMS template format.

Step 4:

Click on Get Count option.student count will be displayed. Then, give the information to be given in the

message.

Step 5:

Select the students accordingly and click on Preview and Send SMS option.Then, information will be sent

through the SMS.
