Test Creation (GRADEBOOK)

How  to create a Test for a Structure (class 3-10)?


MyClassboard’s GRADEBOOK  software enables teachers to easily assess, grade and intervene to improve the student’s academic and non academic performance.


All the parameters used to grade the performance of students are added.


The prescribed Grade scale from A1 to E2 is incorporated into the tool and mapped to the marks awarded by teachers to students in exams and other assessments. 


Step 1:


Kindly enter the URL to log in to the portal.


Step 2:


Login to MCB with Teacher Login Credentials



Step 3:


The teacher logs into the School MCB portal and the dashboard displays all the modules for which the teacher is given access to.


Step 4:


Select the Gradebook from the dashboard..





Step 5:


The first step towards test creation is ASSIGN LANGUAGE.

Select that option from the menu under the Gradebook tab.


Step 6:


The teacher must check if the languages are assigned to that particular class and students in that class.


By clicking on the Assign Languages option , the teacher can select the student wise  or subject wise to get the language subjects.


Choosing the class and languages against the student , click the green tick mark under action to assign the language for the student.







Step 7:


Only after the languages are assigned the test creation is possible. Click on the menu Test Creation (or) Test/Marks Entry under the Gradebook tab.


Select Scholastic Test creation and choose the class,section, term, subject and the desired evaluation, get tests.



Step 8:


The table displaying the test type and exam type and an edit button under enter marks and enter remarks tab appears.By clicking on the edit icon the teacher can allot marks and give remarks for individual student.




Step 9:


When clicked on enter marks, the teacher can view the list of students and give marks and click on the update marks option in the bottom right corner.


The entered marks can be edited or deleted before the exam last date settings created while creating the exam type.



Step 10:


Creation of Test for multiple subjects at the same time.


Select the option, Create Test for multiple subjects from the page of Test Creation under menu, Gradebook.



Step 11:


Select the class, section, term and type of evaluation and continue.


Select the Test/Activity , sequence number,max. and min. Marks , Exam type and click next .




Step 12:


A page displaying multiple subjects  displays and the teacher can select multiple subjects  and click save test to the bottom of the page.




Step 13:


The other way to enter marks for Scholastic skills is by clicking on the dropdown, Scholastic Test Marks entry under the menu Gradebook.


By choosing the class, setion, term , subject and evaluation.


Multiple tests created for that grade display choose the test type and proceed to give marks.


Give marks to individual student and click save .


Marks can be uploaded as a file in the CSV format in bulk.


Post marks entry the teacher can view the marks too.



Step 14:


Individual TEST CREATION can be done by clicking on the Test Creation tab under the Gradebook menu , selecting the class , section, term, subject and evaluation and get tests.


On the top right corner we find a  + icon, by clicking on it the teacher can create a new test.




Step 15:


ASSIGNING CO-SCHOLASTIC SKILLS TO STUDENTS:


Under the gradebook tab, select the menu, Assign Co-Scholastic skills dropdown ,

Choose, class, Co-scholastic part, term and search.

Select the Co-Scholastic area and under the action tab there is an option to edit 

Check or uncheck the box against each student to assign the Co-Scholastic skill and save the changes.



Step 16:


CO-SCHOLASTIC GRADE ENTRY:


Under the gradebook tab, select the menu, Co-Scholastic Grade Entry


Select, class, term, Scholastic part, Scholastic Skill  and Assessment and search.


A table displays with the list of students and  Co-Scholastic skill and action tab to save changes after giving grades.


By clicking next to the student name under the Co Scholastic skill column the teacher can give the grade and click the green tick mark to save the grades.



Step 17:


BULK UPLOAD CO-SCHOLASTIC SKILL GRADES:


Under the gradebook tab, select the menu,  Upload Co-Scholastic grades option,


Choose Class, Term,Part, Assessment.


Upload can be done by grade and grade point.


Select the skill, proceed to get the file format , download the file format and bulk upload the file after allotting the grades in bulk.







HOW CAN CLASS TEACHER GIVE REMARKS AND SUBJECT WISE REMARKS?



Under the gradebook tab, select the menu , Subject Wise Remarks and Class Teacher Remarks.



Select the grade, section and term to get students.


The table with the list of students displays, the teacher can create/view remarks and upload the remarks in bulk.


The teacher gives remarks within 1000 words and save the remarks.



Basic settings to be checked for report card:


Gradebook module settings can be done by clicking on the SETTINGS tab from the dashboard. The mandatory and editable settings can be done by choosing the TERM REPORT CARD PUBLISH SETTINGS menu under settings.



 Select class and term and get the display of classes.


Choose the result publish date and if the parent can view the result or not and save the changes.


This setting enables the visibility of the Report card in parent log in.




Reports :


Bulk report card generation.

Complete Evaluation report can be generated.

Subject wise/Teacher wise and Class wise Analysis can be generated.

GPA wise exam analysis .
