Overview:
To begin the admission process for the future academic years, we have to make sure that the respective academic year is enabled so that the enquiry/application/admission details of students can be updated.
Use Cases:
Sometimes, while filling out enquiry, application, registration or admission forms, either by parents or by school staff like front office team or counselors, the correct academic year may not appear or cannot be selected. When this happens, you need to check a specific setting to make sure that the academic year is enabled. Once this setting is corrected or updated, the academic year will become available in all Enquiry, Application, Registration, and Admission forms.
Hence, to check or update this setting of enabling the academic year for enquiry, application, admission forms, any one of the below mentioned paths can be followed.
Method 1:
Settings --> Organization --> Organization Settings --> Basic Settings --> Academic Year Mapping
--> Select the check box against the academic year under the "Is Preadmission Academic Year" --> Save
Method 2:
Settings --> Admissions --> Enquiry Settings --> Enable Academic Years for Admissions
--> Select the check box against the academic year -->Save
Method 3:
Settings --> Organization --> Academic Year Mapping --> Select the check box against the
academic year under the "Is Preadmission Academic Year" --> Save
Note: These settings can be updated by the organisation level users only like system admin who has access for the settings.
